Moving Forward
Moving Forward's Next Group Meeting: December 2
Hope For The Holidays Group Meeting: November 30 and December 7
Moving Forward is a non-profit peer-based support group for distressed homeowners. Meetings are twice-monthly and are free and open to all homeowners.
Moving Forward's goal is to help homeowners cope with the stresses created by the foreclosure process, and to educate homeowners of the available options to avoid foreclosure.
Across the nation, there are countless homes in foreclosure, and even more in danger of falling into foreclosure.
If you are
- Feeling stress, depression, or anxiety about foreclosure, or
- Looking to avoid foreclosure, or
- Want to find out more about the foreclosure process
...please come to one of our meetings. We are also available by E-mail and phone.
In addition to peer-based support, Moving Forward will have a licensed Marriage and Family Counselor/Therapist in select meetings to assist homeowners in coping with the human side of foreclosure.
Future Moving Forward meetings will present guest speakers who are industry professionals to discuss real estate, tax liability, short sales, personal finance, bankruptcy, and how to avoid foreclosure scams.
Moving Forward was created by Newbury Park homeowners who lost their house to foreclosure. By bringing distressed homeowners together, we hope to ease the negative emotions that come along with this stressful process.
